A little bit about
our program…

PTS is an ISBE approved private educational school. PTS utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to deliver alternative special education supports for neurodivergent learners (pre-K – 5th grade) in a non-public, small, supportive therapeutic day school environment. PTS is committed to providing quality educational opportunities that are tailored to meet the unique needs of neurodiverse learners. PTS aims to bridge this gap and offer a supportive environment where learners can thrive not only behaviorally, but educationally too!

PTS provides educational services and supports to all students who are eligible for services. The following are important components of PTS’ educational placement program:

  • K - 5th grades

  • Under the categories of:

o   Intellectual Disability
o   Specific Learning Disability
o   Speech and/or Language Impairment
o   Other Health Impairment
o   Developmental Delay
o   Autism

  • Small class sizes

  • Low student/teacher ratio

  • School hours for the program are Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:00p.m.

  • BCBAs/LBS1and RBTs/Paras on staff and interacting with students daily. 

  • Supplementary services for IEP qualifying students: Speech, OT, Social Work, and PT.
